Posts: 2,542 Group: Member Member #8,475 Joined: October 27, 2012	South Kaio was strong enough to force Kid Buu to absorb him. Goku was not. Pretty simple. More evidence to support South Kaio's ridiculous strength is the fact that Buff Buu > Super Buu, when all that's left to create Buff Buu should be South Kaio + Kid Buu. Although some theorize this has more to do with Kaio's not mixing well with Buu than South Kaio's actual strength.

Chrome Favourite Manga Dragonball Z	South supreme kai was shown to be injuried or just bruised for some reason in the end of the fight, where Buu absorbed him. Possibly because of him being stronger. Maybe. SSJ3 Goku fighting was fighting just as well with him. However I see Goku losing here due to the SSJ3 drain, unless he doesn't go full strenght and all. Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Hellsing, Elfen Lied, Trigun Maximum	Let's note that absorbing a Kaioshin is kind of different than taking the Kaioshin's energy and using it to revive Majin Boo. We know by statements that apparently neither Kaioshin nor Kibito energy could be used. We also know that Buu's shell is clearly not equalized to his actual power, otherwise apparently a weak SSj2 Gohan would be half as powerful as Majin Boo and that's a total bunch of curry beef w/ rice...AKA stupidity. When Boo absorbs Dai Kaioshin, he gets weaker not because of the effect Dai has on his body directly but of what he has on his consciousness. He gave him a heart and mind which helped to weaken him. Had Dai not given him that heart, Fat Buu would be pulling power even greater than Buff Boo. Same concept of why Super Boo>Fat Boo despite the fact that they're literally the same person, same people in them, same everything. Super Buu's mind isn't being pressed down by the effect of Dai Kaioshin as much as fatty and thus can pull out more of his innate power. Therefore absorbing South Kaioshin really shouldn't be any different than absorbing anyone else in terms of ki. Dai's power didn't weaken him, it was his mind that gave Boo heart. Boo obviously did not get that heart when absorbing South Kaioshin. It's stated that he "somehow" absorbed Southern. In the end, it's just shown that South Kaioshin is really that ungodly strong.
